Job Description

Position Summary

The Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at LIU invites applications from self-directed, inspiring, and motivated individuals to join this historic partnership between LIU and Roc Nation as an Adjunct Professor. All courses are taught in person on LIU's Brooklyn campus. The School is currently seeking applications in the following discipline: Music, Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Production Program.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in music technology, Recording Arts, or a closely related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of successful experience in a higher education setting is required.
  • Experience across popular music genres (Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Alternative, Electronic)
  • Creative pedagogical approaches that support curriculum and learning outcomes
  • Relevant industry experience in recording, mixing and/or production at a professional level
  • A proficient level using outboard gear, consoles, and multiple DAWs including ProTools, Ableton, and Logic
