The School of Education at Pace University invites applications for an adjunct professor to teach undergraduate courses in the initial teacher certification programs at the early childhood, childhood and adolescent levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive and safe learning environment for students, with clear and prompt feedback methods of student performance
  • Maintenance and effective communication with the department chair to keep abreast of curricular updates (if any).
  • Teaching experience with ENL students in diverse K-12 settings in required.
  • Rank and compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Familiarity with key theories and research in language & literacy development
  • Knowledge of culturally responsive pedagogy and the New York State CRS-E framework
  • Effective use of learning management systems (LMS) like D2L Brightspace and online conference platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams for course and/or student interaction
