About this Position

GENERAL SUMMARY: This individual will teach college level Spanish courses within the School of Arts, Sciences and Health. Subjects to be taught will include (but are not limited to) elementary Spanish I and II.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Master's degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university; or master''s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in related discipline.

Experience:

• Three years teaching experience in Higher Education preferred
• Proven history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

• A valid Oklahoma driver''s license will be required if performing the functions of the position requires the use of a personal or university vehicle.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

• Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies.
• Must be a strong advocate for integrating technology into the delivery of instruction.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and human relations.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and resolve conflicts as necessary.
• Must exhibit characteristics of a team player.
• Must be willing to take initiative and assume responsibility.
• Instruction may consist of day and/or night classes, or distance learning.
