Job Title: Adjunct Teaching- Computer Science - CS ANM 494R: Compositing

Position Start Date: September 1, 2026

Required Degree:

Bachelor-level degree or higher (BFA, BA, or BS) completed prior to the appointment start date.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of professional production experience within the VFX or Animation industry.
  • Demonstrated mastery of compositing pipelines and industry-standard software, Foundry Nuke.

Duties/Expectations:

  • Classroom Instruction: Teach CS ANM 494R, the designated undergraduate Compositing course, managing syllabus delivery, lectures, technical demonstrations, and grading.
  • Critique & Mentorship: Provide rigorous, industry-standard feedback on student projects; evaluate visual and technical proficiency in compositing pipelines.
  • Department Collaboration: Coordinate with full-time Animation and Computer Science faculty to ensure the course curriculum aligns with student needs for the annual animation/game capstone projects.
