Required Degree: 

PhD in Literature, American Studies, or related field.

The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

Experience: 

College-level literature course instruction. Minimum two semesters of teaching experience.

Duties/Expectations: 

Teach ENGL 495: Literary Studies Senior Capstone for Independent Study-University. Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work. Grade assignments within 7 days. Foster a positive and inclusive online learning environment that encourages student participation. Organized and careful about time management. Proficiency in using technology and learning management systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. May receive additional assignments/contracts for curriculum development for the same or similar course.
