Job Title Adjunct Teaching Opportunities - Information Systems and Analytics Full Time / Part Time Part Time Job Type Adjunct Reports To Chair, Information Systems and Analytics Position Summary

The Department of Information Systems and Analytics at Bryant University invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach three sections of ISA 201: Introduction to Information Technology and Analytics during the Fall 2026 semester.

In addition to the specific course section listed above, the Department of ISA is also seeking to build a qualified pool of adjunct instructors who may be available to teach a range of undergraduate courses during the fall 2026 semester. We welcome applications from experienced IT professionals and educators with expertise in areas such as cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure and Cloud Computing, and Analytics. Candidates who are interested in being considered for future course assignments are encouraged to apply, noting their areas of specialization and availability.

Course Description:

ISA 201: Introduction to Information Technology and Analytics

Information technology has become deeply integrated with every business function. This course covers the role of Information Technology in supporting business process and major enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM), e-Business, Artificial Intelligence and IT Project Management. It examines the competitive impact of evolving technologies such as Mobile Computing and Social Networking. The course also covers the social, ethical, and security issues that arise with the use of technology. Various business scenarios/problems are presented to teach students how to use IT to formulate, analyze, and solve problems and to enhance their analytical skills. Students apply what they have learned and compete "team to team" in a sponsored course-wide analytical case.

The course sections are scheduled to meet on Mondays and Thursdays at the following times:

9:35-10:50 a.m.

11:10 a.m.-12:25 p.m.

2:20-3:35 p.m.

Principal Accountabilities

This position includes teaching at the undergraduate level as well as contributing to student growth and development through active involvement in student related co-curricular activities.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should hold a master's degree in a relevant field. Candidates should also have foundational knowledge of information technology management, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and basic programming skills.
