Required Degree:
Ph.D. or a Master's Degree in politics, policy, or related fields.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
Extensive practical experience in state politics and policy. The selected candidate will show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring. Our department values belonging, student mentoring, and a collegial culture
Duties/Expectations:
The selected candidate will teach POLI 311: State Government and Politics and POLI 339R: Topics in Public Policy. They will also be expected to provide classroom instruction, hold office hours, grade papers, and give feedback to students. Not expected to participate in faculty meetings or serve on department committees.
