Performs a variety of professional and administrative support to Michigan Dining Assistant Directors/Managers/Executive Chefs.
Administers financial functions including, billing for Michigan Dining vendors and internal campus departments as wellas Pcard and Statement of Activity (SOA) reconciliation, purchasing and revenue and expense tracking and reporting. Supports and trains department professional, AFSCME, temporary and student staff using specialized software

Working Conditions:
Must be flexible and able to adapt to change in a fast-moving, intense work environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule with variable weekday hours, some weekends and holidays required. Must have a current Driver's License issued within the United States, Canada or an International License that is translated into English and successfully complete the Motor Vehicle Record Check in accordance with the University of Michigan policy.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move and transport objects weighing 25 - 30 pounds, position self to twist and ascend/descend stairs, and work in a static position for extended periods.
This role may have reporting obligations under Title IX and Clery.
Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment and applicants for this position will not be sponsored for work visas.
Selected candidates whose start date is 4/1/2026 or after, will not be eligible for the university FY26-27 salary/merit plan unless otherwise notified.
Salary may vary depending on qualifications, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
