Administrative Assistant - Mobile Phlebotomy Department - Moraine, OH
Full Time - 8:00am-5:00pm
Monday- Friday
Position Summary:
Provides administrative support to the Mobile Phlebotomy Department including, but not limited to, data entry, scheduling and quality reporting.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Perform data and order entry into applicable systems.
- Prepare new employee paperwork.
- Assist Mobile Phlebotomy division with quality reports as needed.
- Communicate in a timely and professional manner with clients.
- Assist and support department communications
- Review requested lab orders daily (business days).
- Schedule Mobile Phlebotomy services such as home draws or back-up phlebotomy coverage.
- Perform adhoc audits on required Mobile Phlebotomy forms.
- Perform monthly requisition quality control
- Monitor and track cancellations for Mobile Phlebotomy Team.
- Comply with all company, departmental, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Perform other tasks, special projects and assignments as requested.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and company information

- Concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
- Demonstrate sound reasoning ability and independent judgment.
- Work within specified deadlines and timetables.

- Establish work priorities and handle several procedures simultaneously.

Safety demands and requirements:
- Will have limited exposure to biohazard substances and hazardous chemicals
- Be familiar with and adhere to safety, ergonomic and health policies of the Company.
- Comply with all PPE requirements when in the laboratory or other biohazard areas.
- Complete required safety training and health evaluations in a timely manner.
- Anticipate safety hazards, act upon unsafe situations and promote safety awareness.
