Administrative Assistant - Student Life

Pay:$19.00 - $21.00/hour
Location: Northwest Indiana

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and student-focused Administrative Assistant - Student Life to support campus activities, student organizations, and daily Student Life operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with students, coordinating events, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Assist students with navigating the student engagement portal, completing forms, and accessing campus resources.
• 
  
• Answer questions related to student organizations, campus events, applications, and student activities.
• 
  
• Support Student Life events by helping with setup, cleanup, organizing supplies, and ensuring activities run smoothly.
• 
  
• Assist with the E-Sports program by helping students log into gaming stations, coordinating player schedules, and maintaining an organized gaming space.
• 
  
• Receive and process mail and packages for student organizations and notify groups when items are ready for pickup.
• 
  
• Assist student organizations with approved purchasing procedures and related documentation.
• 
  
• Provide general administrative support and assist with coordinating student workers as needed.
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• 
  
• Comfortable working with college students in a fast-paced environment.
• 
  
• Basic computer skills and ability to assist students with online systems and websites.
• 
  
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• 
  
• Willingness to assist with event setup, cleanup, and moving between campus locations as needed.
• 
  

Preferred Experience

• 
  
• Administrative support, customer service, education, student services, or event coordination experience.
• 
  
• Experience working with students or in a campus environment is a plus.
•
