Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Statistical Assistant to work at a facility in New York, NY.
Pay Rate: $30 / hour
Shift details:
M-F 40 hrs per week, TBD
1. Minimum Candidate Qualifications: The candidate must have a minimum of: a. 5 years of experience in data governance. b. 5 years of experience in compiling and computing data according to statistical formulas for use in data analytic and/or statistical studies. c. A Bachelors Degree. d. Proof of eligibility to work in NYS.
2. Job Description and Required Services: Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: -Compile and compute data according to statistical formulas for use in data analysis and/or statistical studies. -Prepare business analytics and assists in preparing data governance metrics and reporting -Conduct research and analysis of data at DFS, its definitions and usage, system flows, and key challenges and opportunities -Assist in preparation of reports, as needed -Assist with administration of governance forum(s), as needed -Develop documentation including reference guides, how-to(s), summaries, reports, meeting minutes, etc. -Closely collaborate with data stakeholders across DFS to drive decision making processes and facilitate discussions to address conflicting viewpoints with the goal of arriving at mutually satisfactory agreements -Other duties as assigned Notes: *Telecommuting may be allowed at the discretion of the hiring manager *The Department does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by mass transit.
