Department: UCHealth Administration

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $75,000 Annual

The Opportunity: Administrative Fellowship program (24 months) working alongside UCHealth executive leadership teams. The first 12 months of this program will be broad exposure to a variety of departments, projects, and leaders. The second 12 months will be gaining more depth in a specified department. This fellowship will begin in Summer of 2027.

Locations:

  • University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora, CO Northern Colorado region: includes Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies, Greeley Hospital, Yampa Valley Medical Center, and Estes Valley Medical Center
  • Southern Colorado region: includes Memorial Central and Memorial North Hospitals, Grandview Hospital, Pikes Peak Regional Hospital, Parkview Medical Center, Parkview Pueblo West Hospital, Eastview Surgery Center
  • North Metro Denver Community region: includes Broomfield Hospital, Longs Peak Hospital, Longs Peak Medical Center, and Longs Peak Surgery Center
  • South Metro Denver Community region: includes Highlands Ranch Hospital, Cherry Creek North Surgery Center, Steadman Hawkins Clinic

Requirements:

  • Minimum Required Education: Master''s degree in related field from an accredited program (healthcare management, public health, business administration); or Bachelor's degree and in final capstone/internship of Master''s accredited program.
  • Minimum Experience: None required. Preferred: Related work experience.

  • Designs new programs and improvements, including project management, budget, policies and procedures, personnel and resource management. Obtains insights into the workings of the organization and health policy topics; reviews project plans.
  • Creates and maintains budget monitoring tools; manages variances as they occur; prepares financial and analytical reports; maintains assigned signature authority.
  • Works on assigned projects utilizing data gathering and analysis and makes recommendations.
  • Rotates through departments to learn about their functions, issues, roles and responsibilities.
  • Attends and supports leadership meetings as part of the learning experience.
