Position: Project Manager (Administrative Project Manager)
Location: Merritt Island, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 6 month plus

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support strategic initiatives within a fast-paced aerospace environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing multiple projects while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, quality standards, and operational objectives. This role requires strong stakeholder management, project tracking, communication, and leadership skills to drive successful project execution and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

  • Identify project dependencies, risks, and interdependencies across multiple workstreams and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Manage and track the performance, progress, schedules, budgets, and deliverables of multiple concurrent projects.

  • Coordinate activities among internal teams, external partners, vendors, and leadership stakeholders to ensure project success.

  • Prepare and deliver project status reports, dashboards, metrics, and executive-level presentations.

  • Facilitate project meetings, leadership discussions, and decision-making sessions to remove organizational barriers.

  • Develop and execute communication plans to ensure stakeholders remain informed throughout project lifecycles.

  • Support organizational change management initiatives and drive adoption of new processes and business improvements.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with quality, safety, and compliance standards.

  • Promote continuous improvement and recommend process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and project execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Proven experience tracking project performance, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience facilitating executive-level meetings and presenting project updates to leadership.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar platforms.

  • Ability to work effectively in a high-velocity, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting aerospace, aviation, engineering, manufacturing, defense, or other highly regulated industries.

  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum Master, or related project management certification.

  • Experience with change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
