Job Title: Administration – Operator / Data Entry
Location: Onsite at downtown Columbus location
Schedule: Normal business hours, Monday - Friday
Pay: $13/hr
Anticipated Start: 11/02/2026

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to accurately enter, verify, and process numerical and alphabetical information using electronic data-entry systems. This role works under close supervision and may also perform utility clerk duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent data-entry accuracy, and the ability to consistently meet established quality and productivity standards.

What You'll Do:

• Accurately enter and verify numerical and alphabetical data using electronic data-entry equipment.
• Maintain established quality and productivity standards.
• Complete and process work according to predetermined schedules and deadlines.
• Follow established data-entry procedures and identify when program or process changes may be needed.
• Implement approved changes within the data-entry system as required.
• Perform utility clerk duties and other administrative responsibilities as assigned.
• Review entered information for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting required production standards.
• Follow established procedures, workflows, and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve data-entry issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 
Qualifications:

• High school studies or equivalent educational background.
• At least 1 year of related data-entry experience.
• Knowledge of data-entry practices and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to operate a PC, CRT, or PCDE equipment.
• Strong numerical and alphabetical data-entry skills.
• Ability to meet a minimum 65 net keystrokes per minute (NKPM) requirement.
• Ability to work effectively under close supervision and meet established deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
• Applicants may be required to complete pre-employment skills assessments, including Editing & Proofing, Filing, and Data Entry/10-Key. A minimum score of 65 NKPM may be required for the Data Entry/10-Key assessment.

Upon acceptance of offer, candidates will be required to submit to a 10-year criminal background check, urinalysis drug screen, and soft credit screen.
