Job Title: Administrative/Accounting Assistant (Contract - 4 Months)

Location: Cranbury, NJ (100% On-Site)

Compensation: $25-$30/hour (flexible)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Opportunity:

A well-established organization is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative/Accounting Assistant for a 4-month contract assignment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting day-to-day operations, staying organized, and contributing to a team-first environment.

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in a professional office setting within a construction, engineering, or service-based industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-volume data entry, including numeric and project-related information

  • Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper)

  • Assist with compliance-related documentation and tracking

  • Provide general administrative and office support as needed

  • Contribute to a positive team environment, including helping with shared office responsibilities

What This Role Is / Is Not:

  • Administrative and data-focused role

  • Light exposure to project-related financial data (data entry only)

  • No Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable responsibilities

  • No accounting degree required

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset

  • Ability to manage routine tasks with consistency and reliability

  • Prior experience in construction, engineering, HVAC, or service-related industries is helpful but not required

Schedule:

  • Summer hours:

  • Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

  • Some flexibility may be available

Interview Process:
