West Sound Workforce is assisting a well-established HVAC company in its search for an Administrative & Accounting Specialist. With more than 30 years of serving homeowners and businesses throughout Kitsap County, this locally owned company has earned a reputation for dependable service and quality workmanship, combining decades of industry experience with a forward-looking approach to business operations.

This position plays a key role in supporting the company's financial and administrative operations. The ideal candidate brings strong bookkeeping experience, exceptional attention to detail, and an interest in learning and utilizing technology to help improve office efficiency and processes.

Shift information:
  • Full-time
  • Monday – Friday
  • Onsite
What you’ll do:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for ownership and external advisors
  • Provide administrative support by maintaining organized records, managing documentation, and assisting with a variety of operational projects and office activities
  • Serve as a backup point of contact for customers by assisting with inbound calls, scheduling, and general inquiries as needed
  • Coordinate with external partners, including accountants, payroll providers, and other business consultants to support ongoing operations and compliance
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of technology solutions, process improvements, and automation tools that enhance efficiency and streamline administrative and accounting workflows
What we are looking for:
  • Experience performing full-cycle bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliations
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and other business software applications; experience with field service management platforms is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
  • Professional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and business partners
  • Interest in leveraging technology, automation, and process improvements to support efficient business operations
