Job Title

Within the UCLA Department of Psychology, the Administrative Program Coordinator provides high-level administrative and programmatic support to the Youth Behavioral Health (YBH) Program and the Child FIRST Laboratory, both led by Professor Bruce Chorpita. This position serves as the primary administrative point of coordination across both initiatives, ensuring efficient operations, effective communication, and strong infrastructure for program and research activities. The incumbent independently manages complex scheduling, communications, data tracking, reporting support, and program logistics. This role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic academic and programmatic environment.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex scheduling, competing priorities, and high-volume workflows with accuracy and attention to detail. (Required)
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to design and maintain efficient systems for document and information management. (Required)
  • Skill in interacting with persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds for the purposes of working with students, faculty and staff. (Required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional correspondence, reports, and materials. (Required)
  • Ability to work in an environment of constant interruptions and remain friendly and helpful. (Required)
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace). (Required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations
