About the Role


Primrose School of Auburn is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Office Assistant to join our leadership team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys providing exceptional customer service, staying organized, and supporting both families and teachers in a fast-paced early childhood education environment.


As the first point of contact for many of our families, you'll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while helping ensure the day-to-day operations of the school run smoothly.


Responsibilities


  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
  • Welcome and assist current and prospective families
  • Schedule tours, meetings, and appointments
  • Organize and maintain office files and records
  • Assist with administrative tasks and data entry
  • Support classroom teachers by providing scheduled breaks
  • Prepare classroom materials and curriculum resources
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office
  • Assist the leadership team with daily operational needs and special projects
Qualifications


  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
  • Comfortable using computers, email, and basic office software
  • Professional, positive, and dependable attitude
  • Experience in an administrative, receptionist, customer service, or childcare setting is preferred but not required
