    Administrative Assistant – Parts Distribution Center


    Position Overview

    Location: Aurora, CO — 100% Onsite

    Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

    Pay: $23 to $24/hour

    Contract: 12 months with strong likelihood of extension or direct hirePosition


    Summary


    The Administrative Assistant provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to the management team within a busy parts distribution center. This position works closely with the Plant Manager and other site leaders, serving as a central point of administrative support and helping ensure information, documentation, supplies, and operational data are organized and maintained accurately.

    A key responsibility of this role is processing and maintaining hazardous material documentation associated with distribution center operations. The Administrative Assistant will also track operational data, prepare reports, maintain office supplies and records, and communicate important information to site management.

    This is a fully onsite, office-based position located within the distribution center. The workstation is positioned near the Plant Manager and management team, providing regular interaction with site leadership and day-to-day operations.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Process, review, organize, and maintain hazardous material paperwork and related documentation.
    • Track operational data and maintain accurate spreadsheets, records, and reports for management.
    • Compile information and communicate updates, issues, and relevant data to the Plant Manager and other site leaders.
    • Provide general administrative and clerical support to distribution center leadership.
    • Monitor office supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
    • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing and records-management systems.
    • Prepare reports, memos, correspondence, invoices, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
    • File and retrieve company documents, records, reports, and other information.
    • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence and communications.
    • Respond to routine requests for information and route inquiries to the appropriate individuals.
    • Assist management with research, information gathering, data entry, and other administrative projects.
    • Maintain confidentiality when working with business, employee, and operational information.
    • Support additional administrative needs of the distribution center as assigned.


    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • 2–4 years of administrative, office support, clerical, or related professional experience.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to accurately enter, maintain, and track information and data.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete work within established deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple members of a management team.
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information appropriately.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous administrative experience in a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or other operational environment.
    • Experience maintaining compliance, shipping, hazardous material, or other regulated documentation.
    • Experience creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, reports, and data trackers.


    Work Environment & Schedule

    • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
    • Work Arrangement: 100% onsite; this position is not remote or hybrid.
    • Primarily an office-based role located within a parts distribution center.
    • Workstation is located near the Plant Manager and management team.
    • Regular interaction with facility leadership and day-to-day distribution center operations.
