We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a growing organization near Gaylord, MI. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, providing excellent customer service, and helping keep business operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
Greet visitors and provide professional front-desk support.
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
Order and manage office supplies and equipment.
Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and document management.
Support accounting, payroll, and HR administrative tasks as needed.
Coordinate travel arrangements and meeting logistics.
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications
2+ years of administrative, office support, receptionist, or customer service experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude.
Experience with scheduling, filing, and data entry.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
Preferred Experience
Payroll or basic accounting support experience.
Experience working in a professional office environment.
Familiarity with office equipment and administrative software.
