Custom Filters Direct is seeking a dependable, organized Administrative Assistant to support the Plant Manager and day-to-day operations at our Berwick manufacturing facility.
This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable making phone calls, coordinating schedules, communicating with vendors, obtaining quotes, and helping keep plant-related tasks organized and moving forward.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Starting pay: $19.00/hour
- Full-time, onsite position
- Weekly pay
- $50 weekly attendance bonus for employees who do not miss scheduled time
- Training may be required at our Bloomsburg facility located at 20 Union Lane, Bloomsburg, PA.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager.
- Make phone calls to vendors, contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Request quotes for repairs, materials, equipment, services, and other plant needs.
- Schedule service appointments, contractor visits, deliveries, and meetings.
- Follow up on quotes, orders, appointments, and outstanding requests.
- Maintain schedules, reminders, and organized records.
- Prepare emails, spreadsheets, documents, and basic reports.
- Assist with ordering office, maintenance, and operational supplies.
- Communicate with employees, vendors, and other departments.
- Help coordinate plant projects and day-to-day operational needs.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative assistant, office, or operations support experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable making professional phone calls and speaking with vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on open items.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment.

If the Plant Manager needs a contractor contacted, pricing gathered, an appointment scheduled, or information followed up on, this person should be comfortable handling it from start to finish.
