Job Description

Performs a variety of complex administrative and secretarial functions in order to provide effective operational support for a Department Head, Administrator, or Director. The incumbent functions under general supervision in an independent and confidential manner.

Education And Credentials

High school required. Associates degree preferred.

Experience

2-3 years experience. Detailed knowledge of the rules and procedures of the department and hospital. General knowledge of the mission and operations of the hospital.. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of internet and intranet functions. Working knowledge of department specific software. Ability to compose, type, proof and file materials including correspondence, memos, reports, charts, Powerpoint slides, statistics, meeting minutes and contracts.
