This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, coordinating projects, and making sure facilities and equipment are well‑maintained so patient care never skips a beat.

Why This Role Matters

  • You directly support life‑saving veterinary care

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects
  • Perform light troubleshooting and hands‑on support when appropriate
  • Partner with vendors and Thrive's corporate Facilities team
  • Track maintenance contracts and documentation

Equipment Support

  • Help organize and track medical equipment
  • Coordinate vendor repairs and ensure timely resolution
  • Support uninterrupted clinical operations

Administrative & Operations Support

  • Handle mail, invoices, and documentation
  • Run off‑site errands as needed (reliable transportation required)
  • Assist with quarterly and annual inventory
  • Coordinate annual deep‑clean ("scrub") projects and supply ordering
  • Support meetings, food ordering, and hospital events

Team & Hospital Support

  • Assist with new employee onboarding (equipment, access, readiness)
  • Maintain hospital bulletin boards and internal communications
  • Provide general administrative support as needed

What We're Looking For

You'll Be a Great Fit If You Are

  • Highly detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through
  • A self‑starter who sees what needs to be done
  • Organized and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Calm and professional in a fast‑paced healthcare setting
  • Reliable, solution‑focused, and team‑oriented

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities, equipment, healthcare ops, or admin/project coordination preferred
  • Comfortable with light physical tasks and basic troubleshooting
  • Able to lift/move equipment when needed
  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfortable with basic computer systems and documentation

Why Sherwood South?

  • 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care hospital
  • Strong teamwork and emotionally intelligent culture
  • Direct support from Thrive's national Facilities team
  • Fast‑paced, meaningful work environment
