Position Summary
Edgewood Summit is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of our senior living community. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional service to residents, families, visitors, and team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications.
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, copying, scanning, data entry, and document preparation.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and confidential resident and employee information.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and community events as needed.
- Assist department managers with correspondence, reports, and special projects.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Support resident move-in and move-out documentation and administrative processes.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and office area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and customer-service-oriented attitude.
