The Administrative Assistant / Clerk is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and operational support to ensure efficient day-to-day business functions. This role handles scheduling, document management, data entry, communication support, record maintenance, and general administrative tasks in a fully remote work environment.

The Administrative Assistant / Clerk collaborates with internal departments and team members to maintain organized workflows, accurate documentation, and effective administrative processes.

This is a fully remote position; however, applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative and clerical support duties
  • Manage calendars, schedules, and meeting coordination
  • Organize and maintain digital files, records, and documentation
  • Handle data entry, document preparation, and report generation
  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and internal communications professionally
  • Assist with recordkeeping, filing, and document tracking processes
  • Support onboarding, scheduling, and operational coordination activities
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and client information
  • Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and basic administrative reporting
  • Support special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in administrative support, clerical work, or office coordination
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment
  • Basic problem-solving and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with scheduling and collaboration tools such as Google Calendar, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom
  • Experience with task management tools such as Asana or Trello
  • Basic bookkeeping, records management, or office operations experience
  • Experience working in remote or distributed team environments
