THE OPPORTUNITY:

This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Divisional Sales Managers and Sales Office with the goal of continually WOW'ing our customers and reps. This role coordinates travel schedules and provides day-to-day administrative support across a variety of projects and activities within the Sales Department. While this position works closely with the sales team, it is not a sales role, but rather an administrative assistant role focused on supporting, organizing and helping things run smoothly within the sales department.

We're seeking an individual with a positive can-do attitude and history of administrative success. This position plays a key role in supporting the sales team by keeping tasks organized, on track and moving forward.

This is an On-Site position based at our HQ in Detroit Lakes, MN.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8a-5p

PAY: $45,000-$50,000

A Typical Day (job functions) | Support + Plan + Schedule + Organize + Coordinate

  • Provide administrative support to Divisional Sales Managers - managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing communications, monitoring reports for key updates and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Coordinate and execute event planning for sales conferences
  • Organize and execute customer visit arrangements, ensuring all requirements are met and our customers are WOW'ed on their visit
  • Manage and execute sales related projects (i.e. Holiday gifts for customers, sales rep goal communications, newsletters, milestone recognition, etc.)
  • Track budgets, expenses and cost savings for sales activities and travel
  • Coordinate and track sales onboarding, dissolutions, goals, ratings, etc.
  • Manage and execute regional/national show logistics including schedules, appointments, and preparation of materials (occasional travel required)
  • Provide back-up assistance at the front-desk (greeting customers, answering phones, postage, supplies, etc.)
  • Take ownership of tasks and follow through to keep operations organized and on track

Skills (qualifications) | Detail-Driven + Anticipate Needs + Desire to Help + Roll with the Flow

  • High school diploma, some college courses preferred, but not required
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent computer skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Type 45+ words per minute
  • Experience in scheduling and event coordination is required
  • Anticipating needs and a driven desire to help where needed is crucial
  • Excellent communication skills, problem resolution, sound judgment and proactiveness is required
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Must be reliable, responsible, flexible, detail driven and take direction well
  • Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and follow through with deadlines
  • Must be onsite (Detroit Lakes)
