Compensation: $22.00 per hour – paid weekly

About the Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Administrative Assistant workers for a construction company in Elbow Lake, MN. In this role, you’ll support daily office operations and help keep projects organized and on track while working with a collaborative team. What You’ll Do as an Administrative Assistant:
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
  • Schedule meetings and maintain calendars for management and project teams
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain project files, contracts, permits, and documentation
  • Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and document management using Microsoft Office
  • Support bookkeeping tasks, including invoice processing and QuickBooks data entry
  • Coordinate and track invoices, purchase orders, and office paperwork
  • Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients regarding schedules and documentation

What You Need to Bring to the Administrative Assistant Role:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous administrative or office experience preferred (construction industry a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook; Access a plus)
  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
