Description

Auto Driveaway LLC, one of the largest professional driveaway companies in the US, is seeking an experienced, professional Administrative Assistant to join our team in Elkhart, IN. This team member will provide administrativesupport to the operations team through the coordination and implementation of operations activities.

Auto Driveaway is a leading national provider of professional vehicle relocation services. Auto Driveaway primarily serves large corporate fleets, fleet management companies, upfitters, dealerships and vehicle and truck OEMs with fast, safe and reliable door-to-door driveaway service nationwide. Services include fleet shipping and fleet management services; single vehicle "door-to-door driveaway" shipping; short-term and reconditioning services across all asset types. We accomplish this with personalized customer experience, an unwavering commitment to safety, and a national network of professional drivers, helping to ensure quality, accountability, and reliability on every trip

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and solve problems with all stakeholders both internal and external
  • Ensure all driver documents are complete, accurate, and imaged
  • Assist with the payment and loading of driver funds
  • Assist with calling and confirming delivery points
  • Provide phone coverage and route calls to appropriate staff
  • Implement departmental checklists to support established responsibilities and procedures
  • Complete and update all order system work assignments in an efficient and accurate method
  • Interact with drivers and other staff in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process vendor payments
  • Foster a team-oriented work environment
  • Make safety an everyday priority
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (transportation/logistics experience preferred)
  • Proficient with Windows computer system and Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of customer service delivery techniques and problem-solving methods.
  • Ability to prioritize work according to deadlines and client expectations
  • Attention to detail
  • Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record
