Contract-to-Hire: Administrative Assistant

Client, located near Downtown Fort Worth, TX, is looking for an Administrative Assistant for their growing CPA firm on a contract-to-hire basis. This is in-office.

Overview
Client is a growing CPA firmand seeking an Administrative Assistant / Client Concierge to support client-facing administrative processes and internal workflow coordination. This role helps keep client work moving, supports billing and workflow processes, and contributes to a smooth, professional client experience.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating across clients, CPAs, and firm systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative aspects of client workflow and follow-ups
  • Communicate with clients on administrative, billing, and status-related matters
  • Process and deliver completed tax returns (portal, electronic delivery, and mail)
  • Create and track engagement letters and approvals
  • Execute new client onboarding after approval (CRM, workflow, and client systems)
  • Enter and apply client payments and assist with AR follow-ups
  • Update workflow systems and maintain accurate documentation
  • Flag stalled work or exceptions and escalate appropriately
Qualifications
  • Prior administrative or coordination experience in a professional office environment preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and tracking details
  • Client-facing experience a plus
