Administrative Assistant

A local auto dealership is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant to support its front desk and office operations. This person will be the first impression for guests, vendors, and clients, so the ideal candidate will bring a friendly personality, strong customer service skills, excellent computer abilities, and comfort working with numbers.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping things organized, and can support multiple departments in a busy office environment.

Location: Fargo, ND 58103
Type: Part-time
Schedule: Monday - Friday 12noon - 5pm
Compensation: $18-$23/hr DOE

Position Overview:

  • Greet guests, vendors, and clients in a professional and welcoming manner

  • Answer and transfer phone calls

  • Assist with scheduling and general front desk duties

  • Maintain the lobby and common office areas

  • Order office supplies as needed

  • Assist with light bookkeeping

  • Provide administrative support to other departments

  • Serve as a backup for general office duties

  • Support vendor and client relations

  • Assist with projects as needed

Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong customer service mindset

  • Able to follow processes and procedures

  • Works well with others

  • Learns quickly

  • Comfortable making decisions

  • Previous office experience, including light bookkeeping

  • Proficient with Windows, Excel, and Microsoft Office programs

  • Intermediate Excel skills preferred

  • Previous Dynamics 365 experience preferred

  • Clean driving record required

  • Willing to learn company-specific software and Dynamics 365
