Job Title: Administrative Assistant

A well established, cutting-edge technology company is seeking a responsible, detail oriented person with a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience to fulfill a rewarding, administrative position located in Hauppauge, NY. The Account Administrative Assistant's primary responsibility is to support the Accounting Finance Department in all day to day customer related responsibilities.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • General office duties
  • Handle incoming calls from customer and vendor
  • Data input and processing of sales and purchase orders
  • Update Customer Portals as needed
  • Track orders internally from inception to shipment
  • Prepare accurate quotes as necessary
  • Advise customers of order status lead times for shipment
  • Provide customers with tracking information as necessary
  • Prepare and maintain various reports in Excel spreadsheets
  • Work closely with logistics department to ensure timely turnaround of orders
  • Perform reception responsibilities as needed
  • Answering phones and routing calls accordingly
  • Address and forward customer concerns for quality assurance
  • Handle other related responsibilities as assigned by management

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks in an efficient manner
  • Excellent organizational, communication and follow-up skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree or, Associates degree plus extensive administrative experience required
  • Two years customer service related experience a plus.
