Description - The Administrative Assistant reports to the Assistant Dean for Medical Education Administration and provides administrative support to the Associate Deans for Medical Education and Advanced Clinical Experiences, as well as the Office of the Dean. This position requires the use of independent judgement in planning, prioritizing a diversified workload, and regular communication with students, faculty, physicians and administration at the School of Medicine, Hofstra University, and Northwell Health. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required. Minimum one year experience in an office environment. Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be a creative problem solver. Customer service oriented and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work independently. Demonstrate a high degree of judgment, discretion, and confidentiality. Must be mission-driven, motivated, and a lifelong learner. Extensive computing experience and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Salary/Salary Range - $56,000 - $60,000
