Administrative Assistant (Manufacturing) – Temporary | Hueytown, AL

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Hueytown, Alabama, is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Temporary Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and takes pride in keeping information organized and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
  • Scan, organize, and maintain paper and electronic documents
  • File, retrieve, and update records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Organize and manage documentation within the company's ERP system
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
  • Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and other administrative documents
  • Assist with data entry and record maintenance
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to office personnel
  • Support special projects and assist with day-to-day office operations as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous administrative assistant, office assistant, or clerical experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new software systems and ERP platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy office environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and a professional, positive attitude
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience with document management or ERP systems
