Description

Position Summary:

The Administrative Assistant for Human Resources is responsible for performing HR - related duties on a professional level and will work closely with the Human Resources Department. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/employment, onboarding, policy implementation, benefits, employee relations, and employee law compliance.

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR Department.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining the employee database and sorting emails for the HR department.
  • Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates, and schedule job interviews.
  • Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees.
  • Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution of their queries.
  • Assist with the recruiting.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, team player with excellent people skills.
  • High level of discretion with confidential material.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: 40,000.00
