Administrative Assistant II Transportation
REPORTS TO: Director - Transportation
SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support for the Transportation Department.
REQUIRED ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES, AND KNOWLEDGE
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting is required • Must have a strong work ethic • Must be well organized • Detail Oriented professional attitude and reliable • Proficient in Excel and Word • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Remit monthly and other reports in a timely manner • Assist in responding to department phone calls and disburse the information accordingly to the appropriate staff • Manage office inventory • Responsible for payroll for the Transportation staff members • Assist with mail distribution • Perform other duties and accept responsibility as assigned by the Director
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma is required • Experience with customer service, budgets, and contracts is preferred
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
• 12 months • PROPOSED SALARY Grade G
