Administrative Assistant III
Job Location: Modesto, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $22.25-$27.04/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30am-4pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as an Administrative Assistant III working for a government agency? Our client is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant III to provide advanced administrative and clerical support in a dynamic environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting staff, management, and the public.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex administrative tasks, maintaining records, coordinating meetings, and providing excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process forms, reports, correspondence, invoices, and other departmental documents
- Research, compile, and maintain information, records, and filing systems
- Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes
- Provide administrative support to management and department staff
- Respond to inquires from the public, outside agencies, and staff
- Collect and enter data, generate reports, and track projects and expenditures
- Provide guidance and support to administrative staff as needed
- Perform general office duties including ordering supplies, coordinating equipment repairs, and maintaining records

Experience Required:
- Previous administrative support experience required
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy
- Experience maintaining confidential information and exercising sound judgement
