Administrative Assistant - Information Technology (IT)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Information Technology (IT) department. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, math, and computer skills, a positive and cooperative attitude, and a willingness to learn IT-related processes and systems. This position requires the ability to manage multiple deadlines, communicate effectively, and provide exceptional administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro, including form creation and maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong computer skills and overall technical proficiency.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Positive, professional, and cooperative attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

Work Schedule

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be eager to learn IT concepts and develop additional technical skills while providing high-quality administrative support. They must be dependable, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This individual should be comfortable working with business systems, managing documentation, supporting project teams.

Working Conditions/Physical Effort

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach as needed in a standard office environment. Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull office materials, supplies, files, and packages weighing up to 50 pounds as needed. Climb stairs, bend, twist, squat, kneel, and extend arms for reach at times. Heavier items should be moved with assistance or appropriate equipment. Work in shop or warehouse occasionally, some exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and noise. Must be able to safely access all areas of property, buildings, structures, and other occasional elevated positions. Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment.
