Location: New Orleans, LA

Pay: Starting at $14.00 per hour will offer a raise immediately after the 90 day probation period has elapsed

True Focus Hospitality Group is seeking a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to support our daily office operations. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

This position is often the first point of contact for our employees, clients, and applicants, so professionalism and excellent customer service are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally and direct them to the appropriate person.
  • Take accurate messages and ensure they are delivered promptly.
  • Greet visitors and applicants in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Monitor and respond to company emails.
  • Draft letters, emails, and other business documents.
  • Organize and maintain office files and paperwork.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings.
  • Support managers with administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Keep the office clean, organized, and running efficiently.
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and general office support.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfortable using email and learning new computer programs.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance.
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an office, administrative, receptionist, or customer service role.
  • Experience with Google Workspace is a plus.
  • Experience with payroll, scheduling, or HR paperwork is a plus.
