Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Prior Authorizations:
- prepare and submit pa request for pain management procedures and medications
- Communicate with insurance providers to ensure timely approvals
- Track and follow up on pending authorization
- Quality Improvement (QI)Projects
- Assist in data collection and analysis for ongoing OI initiatives
- Support documentation and reporting for compliance and performance metrics
- collaborate with clinical staff to identify areas for process improvement
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Schedule,coordinate,andreschedulepatientappointments,follow-upvisits,consultations,andprocedureswhileensuringefficientproviderschedulesandoptimalpatientflow.
- Coordinate provider calendars and assist with coverage arrangements during vacations, leave, or other absences.

Providecomprehensiveadministrativesupporttophysicians,nursepractitioners,anddepartmentalleadership.
- Qualifications and Skills
- Prior healthcare administrative experience required, preferably in a hospital, pain management, or specialty practice setting.
- Strong knowledge of prior authorization processes, insurance guidelines, and payer-specific requirements.
- Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives, healthcare compliance standards, and clinical workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and healthcare technology platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing departmental needs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Monday & Thursday - 8am-4pm
Tuesday - 8am-11am
wed & fri remote ( divide 3 hours between these days)
$20 hour
