Administrative Assistant/ Rehabilitation Specialist

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm | Job Location Type: In Person

The Adult Residential Treatment Center (RTC) provides services for persons ages 18 and older with serious mental illness, including individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders or development disabilities. Our teams craft individualized plans for the residents to reach the highest level of recovery possible.

What to expect.

This is a direct care opportunity to provide support for mental health treatment. You will split your time between administrative and direct care tasks.

Administrative responsibilities will include:

• Ordering and stocking
• Managing the accounts payable transactions.
• Planning, organizing, and scheduling community outings and program events.

Direct care responsibilities will include:

• Working one-on-one with clients to learn or regain skills for successful community and independent living and socialization.
• Ensuring medication compliance.
• Providing transportation and attending clients’ medical appointments.

As you spend time with your clients, you will find yourself developing a rapport with your clients where you become part of their trusted support system. You will see their wins as your wins as they work their way through the program and cheer them on as they progress in their recovery!

** All new staff will be thoroughly trained to provide all these services and should expect supportive and ever-present mentorship from senior staff members as they perform the requested duties.

The pay rate for this position is $19 hourly. 

What we need from you.

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Two years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• A driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
• Must have availability to work, days, nights, weekends, and holidays depending upon need of the program.
