IDR is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Richardson, TX. This role involves supporting vendor and sales teams through contract management, quoting, and order processing within a dynamic supply chain environment. The company operates within the industrial and manufacturing sector, focusing on vendor programs and product fulfillment.
Position Overview for the Administrative Assistant:
- Support the growth and performance of the Vendor Direct program by managing contracts, quotes, and vendor interactions.
- Partner with sales teams and suppliers to execute fulfillment models including drop-ship and non-stock orders.
- Maintain accurate supplier data, product catalog information, and pricing details within SAP and Office Suite.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to resolve order discrepancies and ensure efficient closeout processes.
- Process quotes, purchase orders, and invoices with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements for the Administrative Assistant:
- 1+ years of administrative, customer service, sales support, order management, quoting, invoicing, or related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business, supply chain, accounting, or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and supplier documentation.
- Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
