The Superior Court of California, County of Riverside is seeking an exceptional Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to members of the Courts executive leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technologically savvy, exercises sound judgment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service while handling confidential and sensitive information.

What Youll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Provide executive-level administrative support to one or more members of the Courts leadership team.
  • Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets with exceptional accuracy.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and reconcile related expenses.
  • Screen and prioritize communications while exercising discretion and sound judgment.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical records and filing systems.
  • Track assignments, projects, and action items to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare reports and operational data for Court leadership and the Judicial Council of California.
  • Compile, validate, and analyze information to support operational reporting and decision-making.
  • Provide backup support for other administrative professionals and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Associates degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience

  • Two (2) years of administrative support experience. Experience should include two (2) years of advanced level administrative support work, preferably at the executive or senior management level, which included the use of a personal computer to prepare complex documents, reports, and charts.
  • Equivalent advanced administrative experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Additional Requirement

  • Typing speed of 55 words per minute.
