Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Administrative Assistant to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.

 

Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (9006 Yellow Brick Road, Rosedale MD, 21237)

Salary: Starting at $22 – $23.50 /hr (based on experience)

Schedule:Monday - Friday 9:00am –5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidential, up to date on-site personnel files – including current compliance training, competencies, licensing, and renewals.
  • Maintaining the most up to date training materials.
  • Partner with the Compliance Department to coordinate timely renewal of employee training/licensing, and pharmacy licensing.
  • Order and maintain adequate inventory of office supplies.
  • Open, sort, and distribute external and inter-office correspondence, including US Mail, FedEx, UPS, etc.
  • Always maintain an organized and clean office environment.
  • Lend support with onboarding new business.
  • Assist in pharmacy management in daily tasks as needed.
  • Forward all receipts/invoices to the Accounts Payable Department.
  • Oversee office support services provided by vendors, such as equipment maintenance/repair, office cleaning, building maintenance, etc.
  • Schedule maintenance/repairs as needed or as directed by the pharmacy manager.
  • Maintain all records on file of vendor contracts, agreements, etc.
  • The ability to adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer

 

The responsibilities outlined above represent the primary functions of the role; additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.

 

 

COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complies with all Company Policies, Procedures, and training requirements
  • Conducts work and professional activities ethically and in accordance with all applicable laws and
  • regulations, including but not limited to:
    • CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid)
    • Boards of Pharmacy
    • State Health Agencies
    • DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency)
    • OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and related state agencies
  • Completes required Corporate Compliance training and act in accordance with Corporate Compliance Policies & Procedures:
    • HIPAA/Privacy Policy
    • Medicare Part D General Compliance and Fraud, Waste and Abuse
    • Clarest’s Code of Conduct
    • OSHA workplace standards
  • Promptly report any business activity that you believe may violate the law, Company policies, or the Code of Conduct and understand the different ways in which compliance concerns may be reported

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other duties as directed or assigned
  • Work with pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians to improve pharmacy workflow process.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly personal workspace
  • Assist and participate in maintaining a clean and orderly workplace including, but not limited to, common areas such as break rooms, restrooms, copier room, lobby and locker room areas.

  • Work with others in a positive productive professional manner ensuring appropriate responsive behavior

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the MD State Board of Pharmacy required
  • Minimum of three (3) years working in an administrative role in a professional work environment preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or fulfillment environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • This position requires the ability to exert up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally and/or lift, carry, push, or move objects. Position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time during shift
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and customer focus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines with accuracy
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software and inventory management systems
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address equipment faults and workflow issues
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compliance
