Administrative Assistant II

As an Administrative Assistant, you are responsible for providing administrative support to both Managers and Supervisors. 

Job Type: Full-Time +, Non-Exempt

Pay: Competitive Hourly

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Contracts / Subcontracts / Change Order.
  • Set up new contracts/subcontracts using accounting software.
  •  Processing Purchasing Cards.
  •  Answer calls when the calls are returned to the operator.
  •  Scheduling drug testing for new employees.
  •  Setting up new employees in accounting software.
  •  Print Certified Payrolls weekly for signature.
  •  New Hires / Arrange interviews for local supervisors.
  •  Issuing CDL paperwork for new drivers.
  •  Schedule CDL testing.
  •  Issuing Safety Equipment / Supplies / Reorder as required.
  •  Preconstruction paperwork.
  •  Scheduling company events.
  •  Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well with all team members.
  • Highly organized, flexible, and dependable. 
  • Ability to use general office equipment.
  • Good Attendance is required. 

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an office support role, with human resource experience preferable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Pre-Screen

  • Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.

License & Certifications:

  • Driver License Preferred but not required.
