Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Watertown
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.86/hour
Employment Type:Temporary  (3 – 6 Months)

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative & Accounting Assistant to support their business office during a period of short staffing and system transition. This individual will assist with day-to-day administrative operations, customer service, and accounting functions, while also playing a key role in the implementation of new billing and budgeting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative & Customer Support:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner
  • Perform data entry, document preparation, filing, and general office coordination
  • Support daily office operations to maintain an organized and efficient environment

Accounting & Financial Support:
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Support billing processes, payment posting, and basic financial recordkeeping
  • Maintain accurate and confidential financial and customer data

Systems & Implementation Support:
  • Assist with transition to new billing and budgeting systems
  • Support software setup, configuration, and data validation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth system transition

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in accounting, finance, or a business office environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with billing, finance, or utility-style environments
  • Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems
  • Experience supporting software implementations or system transitions
