This position is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the Counsel to the Supreme Court.

Administrative Coordinator 1

Typical Duties

  • Administrative support to Counsel to the Supreme Court, the Chief Justice Emeritus, and Supreme Court Advisory Groups (Historical Commission and Commission on Judicial Independence).
  • Coordinate communications with Supreme Court Boards and Advisory Groups.
  • Organize and circulate materials to the Supreme Court regarding rule changes, recommendations, and general communications related to the Boards and Advisory Groups.
  • Schedule commentators for Court argument sessions.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and materials, and prepare meeting minutes for the Historical Commission and Commission on Judicial Independence.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of modern office practices and equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain and observe confidentiality in the performance of job duties.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or position involving comparable activities/skills, or
  • Bachelor’s degree PLUS two years of varied office management or staff work in a staff service position, or
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Miscellaneous Requirements:

  • Satisfactory criminal background check required.

Starting salary: $54,426 - $65,759
