Join our team at Florida Parishes Human Services Authority as an Administrative Coordinator 4 and play a vital role in supporting quality behavioral health services by ensuring accurate billing, maximizing revenue recovery, and helping our agency continue serving the community! This position is domiciled in Hammond, Louisiana, and is in our Fiscal Division.
An ideal candidate shall possess the following competencies:
Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
This position serves as a Biller for the Fiscal Billing Section with responsibility for the daily and on-going recovery of all available revenue for behavioral health and medical services provided in an effort to maximize collections and eliminate duplication of payment and possible fraud. The work of this position is subject to and is responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines (Medicaid, Medicare, Federal Block Grants, Affordable Care Act, HIPPA, etc.), CARF accreditation standards and agency policies and procedures for billing activities. Duties of this position include preparing and submitting claims and appeals in a timely manner, reviewing documents for accuracy, complying with agency policies and procedures, Federal, State, and HIPPA regulations, and third party payer contract guidelines, and performing various clerical duties.

Compensation: The salary range for the position is below.
Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant's level of experience. Note regarding the advertised pay range: The maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title and NOT the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.
Location: Executive Administration/Fiscal Division is housed in Hammond, Louisiana.
