Day Kimball Health is hiring an Administrative Coordinator for our Medical Group Administrative Office!
Location: Putnam, CT Shift: Day Shift, 40 Hours
Administrative Coordinator Job Summary Acts in the capacity of Administrative Coordinator to Vice President (VP) and the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the Day Kimball Medical Group (DKMG), as well as manages and coordinates day-to-day operations of the DKMG administrative office. Serves as a resource to the entire DKMG administrative team as needed.
Administrative Coordinator Key Responsibilities
Serves in the capacity as Administrative Coordinator to the VP and the CMO of the DKMG. This includes the oversight of operations of the administrative office, physician liaison functions, calendar management, and office organization including AP processing. Coordinates and completes special projects for the VP and CMO, as well as develops, coordinates and manages team projects and physician liaison activities for the DKMG utilizing appropriate software products such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Adobe Professional. Serves as coordinator of the DKMG Board of Directors as well as the Finance, Medical Leadership and Operations Committee meetings. Duties to include: scheduling meetings, coordinating and publishing meeting packets, preparing meeting materials, attending meetings, taking minutes, and serve as liaison between the VP and CMO of DKMG and committee members. Assists Physicians and HR as needed, including but not limited to: preparation of offer letters for new providers, contract execution and renewals, license and DEA acquisition and renewal, CME tracking and coordination of expenses and allowance remaining and other physician assistance as needed.
Administrative Coordinator Required Skills and Qualifications Education:
Bachelor Degree in Business-related field preferred Computer literacy required in Microsoft Office Suite of products, Visio, Adobe and ability to learn new software is required
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years business experience supporting Senior Management/ Executive level required Strong Financial background required Strong computer literacy skills required
