Administrative Coordinator

Responsibilities Administrative Coordinator Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing top quality and safe healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the American Heart Association for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and Stroke, and most recently, coronary artery disease. Additionally, Aiken Regional provides comprehensive healthcare services such as behavioral health, emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, rehabilitation services, imaging, and wound care.

Position Description: This position reports to the Office Manager of Administration and is responsible for providing executive administrative support for the senior officers and executives of ARMC. Manages executive schedules and communications to ensure effective and efficient operations by analyzing activities and needs and coordinating support. Creates and drafts reports, letters, and presentations. Manages all aspects of meetings and travel for executives, medical staff and recruits. Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone.

Duties: Manage and organize daily office operations to ensure efficient workflow. Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for staff and management. Monitor and order office supplies and equipment as needed. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Performs other duties as assigned/required.

Qualifications Requirements: Associates Degree required, bachelors degree preferred. 5 years experience in an administrative support role required; experience supporting multiple executives and 1-2 years of hospital experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint). Must have excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Must be multi-tasked oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Critical thinking, independent decision making and analytical skills are essential.
