Mitchell Hamline School of Law is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator for the Student Services department. This position will be a first point of contact for students, faculty and staff seeking assistance, and provide administrative support to the Student Services department. In collaboration with key constituencies, this position will be responsible for event planning and coordinating the logistics of student services as directed by the Dean of Students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a first point of contact for students, faculty, and staff seeking assistance from the Student Services department.
Communicate policies and procedures
Respond to requests for information
Manage Student Services inbox
Provide service to department constituents, which may include directing constituents to other appropriate internal resources or referring them to other departments
Assist with student communications

Campus Connect announcements
Event planning and execution
Assist with logistics for key events, including, but not limited to: In-person Preparation and Capstone sessions, Week 1 (Formation Week), Commencement and related receptions, and Student Organization events.
Support administration of exams including, but not limited to midterms, finals, and other assessments.
Coordinate the administrative functions of the department
Support Program Coordinator with Student Bar Association and Student Organization administrative needs
Recommend and document departmental procedures
Provide administrative support to the department and department staff, which may include maintaining department files, whether paper or electronic, providing word-processing support;
Assist in the development and dissemination of various communications from the department to a variety of audiences
Maintain a clean and organized department ensuring that resources and materials are stocked and replenished as necessary
Order office supplies as needed or as requested and coordinate purchase requests
Provide word-processing and/or other electronic media support
Schedule and maintain calendars
Schedule and pre-screen appointments
Maintain files and records
Handle routine and complex correspondence
Provide project assistance as requested
Attend school-wide staff meetings
Serve on school-wide committees as appropriate
Other duties as assigned

The anticipated pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 hourly, depending on qualifications and experience.
